The Chatham Area Shag Association, Inc (CASA) is a non-profit social club.  Our objective is to preserve and promote the dance named the "Shag" and beach music.  CASA is a member of the ACSC (Association of Carolina Shag Clubs).  Meeting place and time are listed below.

The objective of the Chatham Area Shag Association is to bring people together with the mutual interest in shag dancing, socializing, developing friendships, and to preserve the shag dance and its music.

Club Meetings & Socials

We are now meeting at Captain John's Dockside Seafood Restaurant in the Castaways Tiki Lounge. The restaurant is located in Cole Park Plaza on the Pittsboro side of Walmart. The address is 11550 Hwy 15-501, Chapel Hill, NC, 27517. We meet the second Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.  Everyone is invited to join our socials.
